Prem Krishnamurthy

Prem Krishnamurthy (b. 1977) is a designer, author, and educator who directs the design studio Wkshps and organizes Department of Transformation. He was a 2023 resident of The Luminary, the St. Louis arts organization. His book-length epistolary essay, On Letters (Domain Books, 2022), was named one of Fast Company's best design books of 2022. He received the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award for Communications Design in 2015. He has curated large exhibitions including the 2022 FRONT International and Our Silver City, 2094 at Nottingham Contemporary. He also founded the design studio Project Projects and the New York exhibition space P!.
