Rachael Wren

Rachael Wren is a Brooklyn-based painter whose abstract work draws on landscape, atmosphere, and memory, built from many layers of small brushstrokes within a gridded structure. She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA from the University of Washington. She has exhibited at venues including Wave Hill, The Painting Center, and the National Academy Museum, and has received the Julius Hallgarten Prize and an Aljira Fellowship. Her residency at Chashama North is listed in the Missa record as 2013.
