Related Tactics
Related Tactics is a San Francisco-based artistic collaboration formed in 2015 by Michele Carlson, Weston Teruya, and Nathan Watson. Their work sits at the intersection of race and culture, combining collective making, curatorial strategies, and dialogue. The Luminary in St. Louis hosted them as a resident in 2021, where they presented the window installation 'Who Else But Americans...', a research project tracing the first transcontinental railroad and the lives lost building it. They received a 2023 Rainin Arts Fellowship worth $100,000 and have been supported by Kala Art Institute, the Montalvo Arts Center, and the San Francisco Arts Commission.
