Richmond Barbour

Richmond Barbour is a retired Oregon State University English literature scholar who taught from 1992 until 2022. He works on Renaissance literature, Shakespeare, travel writing, and early modern maritime and trade history. He was a 2019-2020 humanities research fellow at PRAx, the Oregon State arts and humanities center, on a project about a 1611-1614 East India Company voyage journal.
