Robert L. Dean Jr.

Robert L. Dean, Jr. is a Kansas-based poet and writer who lives in Augusta, Kansas. He has published ekphrastic poems, prose poems, and short fiction in MacQueen's Quinterly and many other journals. He is the author of three books: Pulp, The Aerialist Will Not Be Performing, and At the Lake with Heisenberg. Before turning to writing, he spent about 30 years as a professional musician and about 20 years at The Dallas Morning News. His work has been nominated several times for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.
