Robert Maupin

Robert Maupin, MD, is a maternal-fetal medicine physician and professor at the LSU Health Sciences Center, where he is also Associate Dean of Diversity & Community Engagement. He was a 2023 Scholar with A Studio in the Woods, a Tulane University ByWater Institute program in New Orleans. In that residency he mentored Dillard University students on an arts and reproductive health project. The sources describe him as a physician-educator rather than a writer or visual artist.
