Rudy Landeros

Rudy Landeros is a writer who spent over two decades as a police officer in Austin, Texas, and later worked as a United Nations officer in war-torn countries including Sierra Leone and Afghanistan. He began writing as a way to process experiences from those postings. His essay 'Wars of Their Own' on violence against women in Afghanistan appeared with Awst Press in 2015. He has said he hopes his writing will help children from abusive homes.
