RUOYI SHI

Ruoyi Shi is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles who builds fictional figures, tools, and myths from fragments and memories. Her practice probes the line between nature and artificial existence and the fabrication of truth. She was a resident at Residency 108 in Germantown, NY, in 2021, where she made videos and installations on the farm, including a horror film trailer and a compass-making tutorial for the farm's pigs.
