Ruth Timmermans

Ruth Timmermans is a Dutch historian by training who began as a researcher at the University of Leuven in Belgium. She later turned to music, art, literature and film, writing for the independent culture magazine Gonzo from 2000. She has worked as a curator and producer on cultural projects and researches the representation of women in electronic music and the arts. She was a resident at KulttuuriKauppila in Ii, Finland, in January 2017.
