Saint Abdullah
Saint Abdullah is a music project made by Mohammad and Mehdi, brothers based in New York who describe themselves as Iranian-Canadian. The project makes sounds drawn from the religious, political, and cultural history of the Middle East. It was founded to challenge stereotypes about Muslims and Islam. The project held a music residency at Pioneer Works in October 2020.
