Sam Schmidt

Sam Schmidt is a Baltimore poet and editor who also works as a copy editor for creative writing. He published the newsletter WordHouse for Maryland writers for over a decade and hosted its reading series at the Minás Gallery. He holds a Master's in Comparative Literature from Johns Hopkins University and is a two-time Maryland State Individual Artist Grant recipient. His books are Dark Bird (Galileo Press, 2024) and Suburban Myths (Beothuk Books, 2012).
