Sam Yaziji

Sam Yaziji is a poet from Miami, Florida, who is pursuing an MFA in poetry at San Diego State University. He also works as print production editor for Poetry International. His poems have appeared in Zone 3 Press, Apocalypse Confidential, and Bicoastal Review, where his poem "The Mute Earth Cast Out Her Dead" was published in Issue 5. Beyond poetry, he paints Byzantine icons and researches Eastern Christian hymnography and cybernetics.
