Sang Woo Yoo

Sangwoo Yoo is a Chicago-based artist born in Seoul whose sculptures and installations examine ephemerality, material memory, and ecological cycles, often using scent. He earned an MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from the University of Seoul. He was named a 2026 resident of The Luminary, placed in the Climate Futures cohort.
