Sarah Cale

Sarah Cale is a Canadian visual artist based in Brussels, Belgium, born in 1986 in Hong Kong. Her work has been shown in Brussels, Amsterdam, Toronto and Vancouver. She was the first Visiting Scholar at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in 2023. Her practice is known for unconventional use of materials and for deconstructing historical gestures in painting. The pages list Sointula Art Shed on Malcolm Island among her recent exhibition venues.
