Sarah Gilman

Sarah Gilman is a Washington state-based writer, illustrator, and editor who covers the environment, natural history, science, and place. Her writing examines how people relate to landscapes and other species, and her visual art aims to cultivate wonder. She was a resident at Wrangell Mountains Center in 2024 and is listed as an instructor for its 2026 Art Outside workshop.
