Sarasija Subramanian

Sarasija Subramanian is a visual artist based in Baroda (Vadodara), India, whose work uses organic-world analogies to explore cultural and political questions. She trained in painting at M.S. University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda. She was an artist-in-residence at Interface in Ireland in autumn 2017, where she developed work on breeding organisms in captivity. Her work has been shown in Building Bridges exhibitions and in solo and group shows in India and Italy.
