Satu SYRJANEN

Satu Syrjänen is a Finnish artist, ceramist and designer based in Tampere, working mainly in stoneware. She holds a Master of Arts in ceramic art from the University of Art and Design Helsinki (1982). Her abstract works, often built from geometric forms and natural structures, have been shown in Finland and abroad since 1974. She was listed as an alumna of A.I.R. Vallauris, the French residency, from its 2003 season.
