Shawn Lu

Shawn Lu is a Melbourne-based fine artist and street artist who works mainly in pen and ink drawing on paper. He is also known for murals and has painted in regional Tasmania. His influences include Gustave Doré, Moebius and Bernie Wrightson. In January 2017 he began a three-month residency at Q Bank Gallery in Queenstown, Tasmania, and closed it with the solo show 'Odyssey' in April 2017. The show included acrylic-on-wood paintings that drew on European fairy tales and the economic downturn in Queenstown.
