Shayok Misha Chowdhury

Shayok Misha Chowdhury is a writer and director born in India and based in Brooklyn. He is known for the bilingual play Public Obscenities, which earned him an Obie Award for directing its Soho Rep premiere and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. He was a MacDowell resident in 2024, where he drafted the play Ronnie And Kripa and the memoir Rheology.
