Shiao-Ping Wang

Shiao-Ping Wang is a painter born in Taiwan who moved to New York and earned an MFA in painting from Queens College, CUNY. Her work uses patterns, weaving and knotting imagery, and materials such as linen canvas and handmade paper. She has taught at several colleges, including the University of New Hampshire, and has been an artist-in-residence at Surf Point Foundation in Maine.
