Shloka Shankar

Shloka Shankar is a poet and self-taught visual artist based in Bangalore, India, who writes Japanese short forms such as haiku and haibun and also works with found poetry. She is a Best of the Net nominee and has been recognized as an award-winning haiku poet. She founded the journal Sonic Boom and its imprint Yavanika Press, and her books include the microchap Points of Arrival and the full-length haiku collection The Field of Why.
