Sho Hasegawa

Sho Hasegawa is a Japanese visual artist born in Gunma in 1987. He studied painting at Musashino Art University in Tokyo and earned an MFA from HFBK Hamburg in 2015. He is currently based in Berlin. He was a Fiskars Village Artist in Residence in Finland in 2013, and has held residencies in Bulgaria and Hamburg. His work has been shown at the Baku Biennale and the Venice Biennale's Antarctic Pavilion, among other venues.
