SIMONE MORAES

Simone Moraes is a visual artist born in Ribeirão Preto, SP, in 1970, who now lives and works between Aparecida de Goiânia and São Paulo. Her work traces landscape remnants, organic structures and personal memory through records, collections and expeditions. She produces objects, interventions, collages, drawings and photographs. She was a resident at the EAV Parque Lage – Residência São João in 2016, and in 2013 began co-coordinating Casa Fonte, a space for visual arts production and residencies. Her solo exhibition 'Floema' was shown in São Paulo in 2016.
