Sofia Rocha

Sofía Rocha (b. 1996) is a composer whose work explores movement, poetics, chance, cognition and counterpoint. She holds a 2024 ASCAP Morton Gould Award and the 2022 Hermitage Prize at the Aspen Music Festival. She is a PhD candidate in Music and Multimedia Composition at Brown University and was a 2024 Artist in Residence at Avaloch Farm Music Institute.
