Steph Davis

Steph Davis is a marimbist, composer, educator, and cultural activist based in Boston. Their work draws on African diaspora traditions, including Black classical music, West African xylophone traditions, and African American folklore. They have arranged or commissioned over 20 to 40 works by Black composers for marimba, with the number varying between pages. Davis has been awarded a residency at Avaloch Farm Music Institute.
