Stephanie Garon

Stephanie Garon is a Baltimore-based interdisciplinary artist whose environmental art examines humanity's interruption of nature through sculpture, installation, and video. She holds dual science degrees from Cornell University and attended the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work has been exhibited in England, Colombia, South Korea, and across the United States. Her poetry collection ACREAGE was published by Akinoga Press in December 2021, and she returned to the press as its first repeat writer. A second akinoga collection, Feral, was announced in 2026 as the follow-up to ACREAGE. She has received the Trawick Art Prize, a Puffin Foundation Environmental Art grant, and a Hamiltonian Gallery Fellowship.
