Stephanie Porras

Stephanie Porras is an art historian of the early modern period, roughly 1400 to 1700, and a professor of art history in the School of Liberal Arts at Tulane University. Her research centers on Flemish and Dutch art. In 2023 she was a Scholarly Retreat resident at A Studio in the Woods in Louisiana, where she worked on the introduction to the 2023 Netherlandish Yearbook for the History of Art, themed on 'Wet Land' and co-edited with Ann-Sophie Lehmann and Joost Keizer. Her teaching at Tulane has covered Dutch Golden Age art, baroque art, and prints.
