STEVEN ANTHONY JOHNSON II

Steven Anthony Johnson II is a draftsperson, writer, photographer, and curator based in Brooklyn, New York. They work with drawing, animation, and photo-documentary to explore Blackness, "otherness," and identity. Their residency at Field Projects in 2021 was used to continue the drawing series "Left on Read." Their work has been shown at venues including The Armoury, ISCP, and Pace University Art Gallery.
