Surya Tüchler

Surya Tüchler is a German performance artist whose work includes live performance and video performance. She works with natural materials, using them to cover and mask her body so that it becomes part of a place. Her archaic-looking performances move between human and animal, beauty and disgust, life and death. In April 2021 she was a two-week resident at Earthwise Residency in Ebeltoft, Denmark, where she developed a site-specific outdoor performance based on the surrounding nature.
