Susan Stark-Johnson

Susan Stark-Johnson is a ceramic artist who was an artist-in-residence at the LUX Center for the Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska, beginning in 2009. She later returned to serve as the center's gallery director from 2012 to 2014. Her work combines bare and glazed clay with raised, carved, and wax-resist surface designs, and she has said her functional forms aim to foster a sense of beauty and the sacred.
