Sweetie Magee

Sweetie Magee is a New Orleans poet, spoken-word performer, and vocalist who has worked for years as a background singer and songwriter. Her work often addresses imposter syndrome and encourages authenticity. She was a 2025 resident at A Studio in the Woods, where she developed written works, including a preteen poetry publication, The ABCs of Puberty, and a poetry collection, Mics and Mirrors.
