Tanis SAXBY

Tanis Saxby is a Canadian ceramicist who works mainly in white porcelain, making undulating vessels often shaped on a potter's wheel. She has studied at the University of Victoria and the Kootenay School of the Arts. She was a resident at A.I.R. Vallauris in France, where she also held a solo show at the gallery. The Georgia Straight profile describes her interest in nature, minimal white surfaces and the interior of the vessel.
