Tim Lytvinenko

Tim Lytvinenko is an artist and photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He works mainly with large-scale photographic prints made through photo transfer. His work deals with memory, transience, and grief, drawing on photographs from his own life. He breaks each image into 8x8-inch squares and rebuilds them into a new whole, an approach inspired by Japanese kintsugi. He was an artist-in-residence at PenArt (Peninsula School of Art) in Fish Creek, Wisconsin, where he led a family art day and took part in a studio tour in February 2025.
