Timo Viialainen

Timo Viialainen is a Finnish visual, performance and sound artist who works with sculptural objects and sonic performance. He plays the electro-acoustic hurdy-gurdy as an experimental instrument. He graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki in 2021 and has performed at festivals in 21 countries. He was a HIAP studio grant recipient in 2021 and a Titanik A.i.R. resident in Turku in winter 2023–2024.
