Tina Kohlmann

Tina Kohlmann is a German artist from Frankfurt who was a resident at the Serlachius Residency in Finland in 2026. Her work draws on folklore, myths and legends, including Kalevala transformation myths, forest spirits and elves. She reads these stories from a queer-feminist angle, looking for marginal viewpoints. Her main project during the residency is a large latch-hooked rug, supported by small sculptural works made from collected natural materials.
