Udita Mukherjee

Udita Mukherjee is a geologist and PhD candidate at Tulane University who studies how sea level has changed over the past 20,000 years. She is interested in how those changes shaped the sediment rivers deliver to the deep sea. She hopes her work supports social justice efforts, starting with climate justice. In 2022 she was a scholarly resident at A Studio in the Woods in Louisiana, where she focused on her dissertation.
