Vanessa Frances

Vanessa Frances is an Orlando-based writer working across playwriting, poetry, screenwriting, and fiction, with work that blends realism with speculative and surreal elements. Her stage play The Magic Castle Still Stands won the Patron's Pick Award at Orlando Fringe 2024, and her follow-up, Clingstone, won Best Story at Orlando Fringe FestN4 in 2025. Her debut novel, Orange Island, was published by Red Rook Press in spring 2026.
