Vaune Trachtman

Vaune Trachtman is a Philadelphia-born photographer and printmaker who makes photogravures and photopolymer gravures without the toxic chemicals of earlier processes. Her work explores dreams and memory. She was an artist-in-residence at Tusen Takk Foundation in 2021, and her series NOW IS ALWAYS, a collaboration with her father's 1930s negatives, was published as a book by Tusen Takk Press. She lives in Brattleboro, Vermont.
