Veronica Perez

Veronica Perez is a Maine-based visual artist and social and cultural worker whose sculpture and storytelling address erasure, identity, and interdependency. They were a 2023 resident at Surf Point in York, Maine. Perez currently serves as Artist in Residence at the University of Southern Maine. Recent recognition includes the Ellis-Beauregard Visual Arts Fellowship (2020), the inaugural David C. Driskell Black Seed Studio fellowship (2021), and a Lunder Institute fellowship at Colby College (2022).
