Victoria Manganiello

Victoria Manganiello is an artist, designer, educator and producer who works with hand-woven textiles, hand-spun yarn and natural and synthetic dyes. Her work includes installations, abstract paintings and kinetic sculptures. She co-founded Craftwork and co-organizes electronic textile camp. She also teaches part-time as an assistant professor of textiles at The New School/Parsons and NYU. Her own site describes her books and films as exploring women's work, labor, technology and craft histories. She is also co-directing the documentary The Domestic Machine. Her solo exhibitions include shows in New York, Melbourne and Brooklyn.
