Victoria van der Laan

Victoria van der Laan is a textile artist based in Albany, New York. She was chosen as the October 2023 artist-in-residence at Weir Farm National Historical Park in Connecticut. Her sewn paintings are abstract interpretations of quilt-making techniques she learned from her grandmothers. Her work is held in the permanent collection of The Albany Institute of History and Art.
