Wafa Hourani

Wafa Hourani is a Palestinian visual artist from Ramallah who trained in art and cinema in Tunis. He began as a filmmaker and moved to visual art in 2006, which he sees as a more effective way to address the Palestinian question. He works in photography, sculpture, and architecture, creating immersive environments that link past and future. In Fall 2014 he was a project fellow at the Siena Art Institute, where he led the project Orientamenti: Reshaping Past Traditions.
