Wendy DesChene

Wendy DesChene is a Canadian Métis Nation artist whose work centers on collaboration, audience participation, and critique of art institutions. She is known for the WYSIWYG project and for PlantBot Genetics, a collaboration with artist Jeff Schmuki. She is an Endowed Professor at Auburn University and has completed many international residencies, including at KulttuuriKauppila Art Center in Finland and Mauser EcoHouse in Costa Rica.
