Wendy Yamilett

Wendy Yamilett is a multidisciplinary figurative artist who works with themes of gender, Latinx identity, nature, and mental health. Their work often draws on personal experience as a first-generation American of Honduran descent. They were a resident with Unlisted Projects in Austin, Texas. Their CV lists a 2021 solo exhibition, Pulling Up the Roots, and group shows in Texas and North Carolina. They have also received a City of Austin Community Initiatives Grant and a second-place prize at the Holding Space exhibition.
