Yasmeen Siddiqui

Yasmeen Siddiqui is an editor, writer, and founding director of Minerva Projects. Her practice pairs writing with exhibition-making to test how audiences see particular artists or art movements. She has written on artists such as Do Ho Suh, Hassan Khan, and Lara Baladi. Her essays and reviews have appeared in Hyperallergic, ART PAPERS, Flash Art, Modern Painters, and The Brooklyn Rail, among others. She has also contributed to several exhibition catalogues and anthologies. She was a Montello Foundation resident in 2016 and later sat on a Montello judging panel in 2017.
