Yoh Morishita

Yoh Morishita is a choreographer and performer born in Kobe, Japan, and currently based in Vienna. She trained in architecture and design in Kyoto before studying contemporary dance in Austria and Belgium. Her works explore the visualization of the unknown, drawing on theory, utopia, and sensation. In 2024 she took part in a Kinosaki International Arts Center residency with dancer Hanako Hayakawa, developing a piece called 'hybrid' about their identities as Asian women working in Europe. The residency closed with a work-in-progress showing in December 2024.
