Yu-Han Chao

Yu-Han Chao was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and writes poetry, short stories, and short films. Her work spans poetry collections, chapbooks, and a short story collection. She has also worked as a nurse and taught creative writing. Her chapbook Triptychs on a White Belt was published by Another New Calligraphy in 2017. The book follows a woman practicing taekwondo while haunted by a past assailant. Her short story collection Sex & Taipei City came out from Red Hen Press in 2019.
