YUKO KINOUCHI

Yuko Kinouchi (木内祐子) is a visual artist who works between Tallinn and Tokyo. Her practice combines low-tech mechanical systems, video, painting and installation. She often draws on posthuman theory, recently focusing on zombies as speculative figures. She completed her BFA and MFA at Tama Art University in Japan and an MA in Contemporary Art at the Estonian Academy of Arts. In 2019 she was a resident artist at KulttuuriKauppila in Ii, Finland, where her video work was shown in the exhibition Alternating/Direct Currents.
