Yulia Tikhomirova

Yulia Tikhomirova is an artist and curator who works in the TIST (This Is So Temporary) collective with Michele Liparesi, based in Bologna, Italy. The collective runs an artist-run space in an old fabric shed on the city's industrial edge. Their work challenges institutional and commercial systems of art production. In March 2022 she took part in an artist residency at AIR InSILo in Hollabrunn, Austria, where TIST developed the Anti-Monument project. The project is a mobile, temporary monument that gathers ideas for an alternative art manifesto. A 'Sound InSilo' version was planned as a meeting point for local young people.
