Zeelie Brown

Zeelie Brown is a jazz cellist and multimedia artist whose work examines the vernacular culture of the Black Gulf and Global South. Their practice combines music, prints, installations, sculpture, and painting, and often centers food and community. They released the album 'the apocalypse is not the end but the unveiling' on New Amsterdam Records in 2025. They were a Climate Rising fellow at A Studio in the Woods.
